Community Archaeology Education Charity

The Trust for Thanet Archaeology runs archaeology and history based education activities and events in the Isle of Thanet in Kent and further afield.

We are based at the Antoinette Centre at Quex Park in Birchington where many of our activities take place.

The Trust is run by a group of volunteer Trustees,   some with expertise in archaeology and education and some with a strong interest in learning about archaeology.

We also have an online Virtual Museum of Thanet’s Archaeology .

Funding

The Trust for Thanet Archaeology is funded by receipts from education activities, sales of local publications and from donations from the public.

We welcome your financial support for our valuable education resources and activities. Donations can be made online, to help continue the education the work of the Trust 

Events

The Trust uses its unique resources to host events that help to explain Thanet’s unique archaeological record.

We will update you on our programme of events in 2022 soon.
